Guess Who we sign...

We're trying to trade Daniels so that we can use the LLE to sign another player. If a Daniels S&T happens who are we going to use the LLE on. Each person can guess once and the winner gets 10 tps from me as well as more from other posters willing to give them.

Would have to be a backup point guard.

I'm assuming we wouldn't grossly overpay Bruce Bowen with the LLE for a year.

I'm not sure I can make a good guess here...don't really know what the best remaining FA point guards are who could be gotten for the LLE.

Bobby Jackson?  Carlos Arroyo?

The LLE doesn't have to be used this year. Essentially we aren't using the LLE for either using it this year, or keeping it as a tool for next year. The way things are shaping up this season, I think the LLE might be better served next year.

Depends on how the sign and trade goes and on how many roster spots we need to fill. As it stands now, using the LLE shouldn't be a necessity.

Yeah, you're probably right.  Use the LLE on Daniels if necessary, but otherwise we can keep it and use it next year.  As long as Daniels gets signed through a S+T, we don't need to use the LLE to fill out our bench.

(I realize it is unlikely as BBD will probably be back and the Cs signed Shelden Williams today, but I bet Joe Smith is the backup option if the Cs lose BBD).

well since williams fills the last need for a big and i assuming we get baby..i think in the end the deal for daniels will be tony and walker..i will say it will be bowen....which is way too much money for him

I would agree with Cman....

But, LLE probably goes to Daniels, since a trade doesn't seam to work. IF we loose out on Davis, Smith makes sense for the LLE.

yes. over the cap teams can sign as many vet minimum contracts as they want
