John -- Any word on the Indy/Boston deal involving Marquis Daniels?

Basically, Boston wants to do a sign-trade for Daniels and keep its biannual exception open. But the only player Boston could trade that would meet cap rules is Tony Allen, whom Indiana doesn't want. So they're trying to come up with a third team and having little success. I think it's highly unlikely they end up with a sign-and-trade.

*if this is the case...just sign him and move on to getting the baby issue resolved. put tony deep on the bench and save his expiring  for later in the season...enough...screwing around with the pacers...

Can't agree with you more.

Do you think JWill could sign for a minimum salary.

Looks like the knicks got negotiating rights for J-Will.

What exactly does this mean? How long do they have to work out a deal? Do they have to re-release his rights now if they don't work out a trade? I don't remember a situation like this before off the top of my head.
