http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/9852462/Who-are-the-NBA%27s-most-overrated-players?

Kevin Garnett

His performance in the 2008 NBA Finals against the Lakers was a good indication of where he's really at.

# In Boston's six-point loss in Game 3, Garnett shot 6-for-21.

# In Boston's five-point loss in Game 5, Garnett scored only 13 points and missed several shots in the fourth quarter.

# In Boston's championship-clinching, 39-point win in Game 6, Garnett registered his series high of 26 points.

In other words, it is well-known among the league's coaches that Garnett is a frontrunner who will inevitably choke when a critical game is up for grabs.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

Maybe Charley Rosen is doing whatever Starbury is doing...

KG was the leading scorer and our best player throughout the entire playoffs.

Honestly he played just as well as Ray/Paul in the Finals and they could have easily been co-MVPs. Pierce got it because of his dramatic return in game 1, his overall greatness in game 5, and he is the only long time Celtic player.

KG also had a double double in all 6 games, something few players have done. Played well in games 1 and 2 which put us ahead too.

I guess it it has been a while since he took shots at players fans like.  Great way to drive up the hits on his articles.

rosen is a hack who hasn't been relevant for several years, and thus has fallen into "shock analysis" syndrome. All he does is put out crazy pieces about how x players are overrated or random guys are sleepers and then claim he's on the cutting edge.

Even more than KG, Chris paul on this list is so ridiculous it's not worth mentioning. I'm just surprised he didn't put Kobe and lebron on it to try to go for more site hits.

Not overrated. But In crush time, KG is a choke artist. He misses freethrows when it counts, and is very passive when the game is on the line. Sorta like Pierce against Chicago this year. What should've been a 4 game or 5 game series turned into a 7 games series cause of his troubles at the line in crucial moments.

LOL.  What an idiot.

I was just going to post something about that.  Rosen listed KG's numbers in the losses, but not the wins. ::)  BTW, I
m sure the Celtics did win the championship that year.
