Watching him right now and he has definitely lost it. He said he is done with basketball, because no one will pay him. Then five seconds later he says he would play for the Celtics for nothing. He would sit on the bench for nothing. He then started praising Danny Ainge and said what Ainge did for him was ubelievable. He then started going on again about how he is done playing basketball. He definitely won't be in the league this year.

I just tuned in a few minutes ago to see what was going on and I just happen to hear one of his little rants including this:

"It's not about the money! What Danny Ainge did for me, man... I'd play in Boston for free! That man don't owe me nothin. The Knicks on the other hand, they'd have to pay me max money to play for them."

Whatever though, this guy is certified insane in my mind at this point.

That's sort of ironic, because at this point, I wouldn't take Starbury back for free.

I can care less how loud he is off the court as long as he is quiet on it. I can't believe how many of you "SUCKERS" are falling for his imitation craziness! He has alot of you right in the palm of his hand & dude is feeding of YOU guys. I know Steph from his days in Phoenix & he is NOTHING close to crazy. He is one of the nicest people to meet off the court. Very, very quiet & reserved to himself. So I won't fall for this apparent "JEDI MIND TRICK" he is pulling on the world stage of people who doesn't know him. Al Pacino played SCARFACE & I actually believe he lived that life before when I was like 9. It is called acting & apparently Steph is doing a great job of it because he knows it nets him viewers. Once he signs with Boston again there will be no hiccups or peeps out of him so mark my words. Stephon Marbury is a solid human-being & I know so personally! So dont believe his hype.

Sorry to break it to ya, but this is no act...do you really think what he's getting paid on **** compares to what he can make on the open market in the NBA?  I think that his little episode here is really going to hurt his value.  There's absolutely nothing positive that has come out of this, so I'm not sure why he would be "acting crazy".

On a side note, who is crazier: Starbury or OchoCinco?  It's pretty close.

Agreed. ;D

Marbury is just acting out to keep his viewers.

What I don't understand is, why do people want him back?

1) He has a history of team-killing that is well-documented;

2) He behaved, but played terribly in Boston, despite ample time to shake off any rust; and

3) He's now demonstrating extremely erratic behavior, including screaming and yelling at fans, bursting into tears, and behaving in a manner typically associated with drug use.

Why on earth does that scream "ideal backup point guard" to so many?

I was fine with taking a minimum-salary flier on the guy if that's what Danny wanted to do.  After these recent episodes, there is just no way.
