Buncha favorites playin old fogies if you ask me.

Wasn't Tyson Chandler an Olympian? I doubt you'd be willing to hitch your cart to that horse.

Anyway, shouldn't we be debating the harder to call matchups, like Seattle/Buffalo and Philly/Cleveland?  I'm inclined to pick upsets in both of those series, but I want to hear from their various GMs.

I hope you're right on Leon, but Danny didn't think he was worth $1 million.

Can someone tell Master Poe that Leon needs his vote.

Before Powe there was a Delonte

Lets call him

I am pretty sure the side he will support

Classic deflection tactics. ANSWER THE QUESTION, SENATOR!

But Hobbs, unless I'm way off, you might actually be having some fun right now. Why don't you come back? Portland's 16-1 victory over Houston would be that much sweeter...

See, now that I've been freed from the bounds of GM servitude, I don't have to answer questions (although haven't they all been answered?)

Anyway, the 4-vs-1 matchups are hard to call.  I think Philly is a matchup nightmare for the Lebrons/Magics, and Seattle/Buffalo is a coin flip, I think.

I think if Portland won its division and advanced past Golden State, it's a pretty safe bet that Redd is healthy, don't you?

Actually, no, he sat out the series. But so did the Warriors' Luol Deng. Another player who hasn't returned to the court yet even though it's mid-August...

I like defending the team I helped build, especially when folks can debate is a respectful way.  That being said, I'm a (biased) observer / voter here; Edgar is the one calling the shots.  If he thinks it's a good idea to start Gomes and Delonte, there's not much I can do or say about it.

If it's the last play, I'd try to find a way to squeeze Bibby in there, too, probably in place of Miller.  Bibby has come through in the clutch quite a bit.

Three guys? Anthony Randolph, Edgar!

"He's one of the most breathtaking rookies I've seen in person - ever - for all the reasons you just described. There has never been anyone quite like him. He's like a cross between Josh Smith and Lamar Odom, only if you fed him 10 Red Bulls and told him right before the game, "If you can make 10 things happen during the 10 minutes you play tonight, we will quadruple your salary and you will start for the rest of the season" ... and then he does just that, but the coach reneges on the promise so Anthony has a near-crying meltdown on the bench. That's every Anthony Randolph game. I caught him once and, in the span of two hours, he made three "MY GOD!" plays and broke down on the Warriors' bench because Nellie wouldn't put him back in, followed by an assistant consoling him through an entire timeout like Randolph was a third grader who got in trouble for something he didn't do, then had a meltdown and got kicked out of class. It was riveting. The odds of me missing another Clips-Warriors game for the next five years are 10,000-to-1." - Bill Simmons

Also Grant Hill!

The CrotoNats select Grant Hill.

Yes, he's old, but he's a "point forward", brings veteran leadership, and is the perfect slasher for our team.
