What do you guys think of the Heat right now?

PG Rajon Rondo
SG Nick Young
SF Anthony Morrow
PF Tyrus Thomas
C  Spencer Hawes

Bench:
JJ Redick

I think you have an excellent young team, with some amazing shooting from Morrow and Redick.  I really like the addition of Hawes versus Shaq, too -- I think he's an ideal center for your team, as he's solid in the post and on the perimeter, and plays on both ends.

3)True, but does he have Phoenix's training staff? No, because I hired them. :P

I want documentation, since we publicly announced that they're ours. ;)

Regarding egos, I think we tried to draft a team that was relatively headache free.  Most of them have accepted a cut back in their minutes in "real life" without complaint.  At this point, all of them are pulling toward the same goal:  a ring.

I'm pretty sure I have Phoenix'a training staff

Anthony Morrow is no SF.

Yeah, I realize that, but Young and Redick are not either - he was the closest thing.  You got a SF you want to trade?

Hey man, 2 legit starters for a star. Your team gets better and so does mine, who doesn't want that?

Ya I think ego's is really stretching for something with the crotornats.  Like Roy said, all these guys have been pretty much model citizens in "real life" and all of their guys are used to not being the main man either for their whole careers (Bibby, Manu, Lewis) or now due to injuries and decline (the O'Neal brothers).  Michael Redd is just a classy dude, and the rest of the team is used to and seems accepting of coming off the bench in real life.  It would be one thing if they had any two of Amare/Boozer/Josh Smith/Zack Randolph/Beasley at the PF, or something like Vince Carter/Arenas/Ben Gordon/Mayo battling for minutes at the 2, guys who we've never really seen accept a lesser role, or guys who think they should be the main man, etc.  The crotornats have a team of lesser stars that should blend well togther.  Now I don't see a problem with ego's, but I do see problem come playoff time when teams normally drop to an 8 man rotation.  A couple of people aren't going to get ANY playing time and that could be an issue (although probably a slight one as it has been said most of these guys are real life model citizens).

I think you took your biggest problem and fixed it. Rafer Alston was great option where you drafted him, and he proved this year he could help a team....sometimes. Sometimes he does not help a team, but I think he does more good than bad, and Barbosa wouldn't be doing you any favors by starting all year.

I think really though you want a PG like Derick Fisher or even better, Steve Blake.

The slightly revamped Buffalo Braves

PG: Chris Duhon
SG: Ray Allen
SF: Al Thornton
PF: Antawn Jamison
C: Dwight Howard

Bench: Linas Kleiza (SF/PF), Zaza Pachulia (PF/C)

Thornton is a  great athlete, but I'm not sure that he solves your shooting woes (.367 eFG% on jump shots is pretty horrific for a SF), and he's an inferior defender and passer when compared to Kirilenko.

You got worse in my eyes with your trade.  I really like Kirilenko and thought he fit well with your team.  You have Howard as the low post threat, and Ray and Antwan to spread the floor and provide addtional scoring.  I saw Kirilenko as that tough to defender to go against the tough SG/SF/PF's.  I think you lose that tough defender now and don't know what you really gain with Thornton except maybe some youth (and less of a headache maybe? but I really think Kirilenko is past all that), but I wouldn't want to gain youth on a win now team.  Also I thought Kirilenko and Jamison worked well interchangeably at the forward spots without really having to define the positions.  But I must admit, in real life I really like Kirilenko, although I know others don't agree [cough] ROY [cough].

It's a nice group though I'm not sure I see any legit go-to scorer for this team. I see a few good role players here though.
