Anyone have any strong opinions about this? I'm trying to figure out how to explain this one to my wife.
I would definitely say the current system stands to be tweeked. I went to the draft once and it took like 9 hours to get through 13 picks. I like the idea of having Sunday off.
I'm not sure how I feel about watching all Thursday night just to see the Pats inevitably trade out of the first round and the entire night.
I like the idea of watching, setting my cell phone alarm, changing the channel, then going back to see the pick. Granted they could pick sooner, but still. Granted I can do that now.
Hmmmmm. Tough decision.
I think the wife will like it on the basis I won't become a zombie the whole weekend. But God forbid it comes up against some stupid reality show like American Idol or Think you can Dance and I'm headed for divorce land. Well either that or I have to leave for the night and go somewhere else. Or watch it on the net which just isn't the same

I don't mind the change. More days of the NFL is always better in my book, but unlike you I don't like that they won't be doing this on Sunday any longer. I think the NFL and Sunday just goes together too well, and to drop their big event from that day is a little sad to me.

I think it's crap. One of the best things about the NFL draft was that it gave you something to watch all day saturday and all day sunday. Now that's out the window (as it was this year with the late start).

Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
Do not like it at all. I love the draft, turning it on and going no where the entire weekend, just watching the draft. The first night only having one round is going to kill me, this is too much break up of the rounds.

It's CRAP!
Used to have a draft party with friends.
At least they should start it on Friday night.

I am not a big fan. Now, that's three days down the toilet. And that Thursday night could effect my sleep for Friday at work.
