Here's how I would like the minutes allocated on the roster I posted earlier.

PG - Rondo 38min, House 13min, Lue 2min
SG - Ray Allen 34min, Daniels 12min
SF - Pierce 34min, Warwick 12min, Daniels 12min
PF - KG 28min, Warwick 12 min
C - Perk 25min, Rasheed 22min,

Inactive List
13 - Diogu
14 - Swift
15 - Giddens

Here is my realistic roster:

PG - Rondo, Marbury, Pruitt
SG - Ray Allen, House, Tony Allen
SF - Pierce, Daniels
PF - KG, Warrick, Scalabrine
C - Perkins, Wallace

I think they should just sign Daniels to the LLE, and sign-and-trade for Warrick. I think Memphis would go for a package of Giddens and Walker. They'd be able to round out their bench with some young guys while getting rid of Warrick who they apparently don't want.

A two year, 5M total deal for Warrick would bring our salary to about 81M for 2010 ('09 was 79.5M). Keep the last two roster spots open for mid-year additions or keep Lester Hudson and one spot.

My dream roster:
PG - Rondo, Marbury, Pruitt
SG - Ray Allen, House, Hudson
SF - Pierce, Daniels
PF - KG, Warrick
C - Boozer, Wallace

Trade Perkins, Scalabrine, and Tony Allen for Boozer. This brings the roster total to 12. Then add a warm body or two for the minimum (Udoka, Skinner, Ely, etc.) Against smaller centers you could start Boozer, and against bigger ones (Shaq and Howard), bring in Wallace. He'd be the perfect compliment to the outside game of Wallace and KG. After the season, S&T him or resign him for the 13M a year he wants. I also think this would appeal to Utah, in that they save about 4M total for next year (including luxury tax) and would get a cheap center for two years (rotating Millsap/Perk/Okur for two spots).

Wyc would have to want to spend though. The above roster would be around 85-86M total.

^  Given we need to go through Dwight Howard and Shaq, I think Perkins is a much better fit for us than the under-sized, oft-injured Boozer.  That guy will never win anything in this league.

So do you not think we're getting Daniels? or do you just not want him.

This is who I would want

PG - Rondo, Marbury,
SG - Ray Allen, House, Tony Allen
SF - Pierce, Daniels
PF - KG, BBD, Powe/Giddens
C - Perkins, Wallace

Giddens stars the year, and Powe finishes it.
This team is unstoppable.

Giddens at PF  :o. That'd almost as fun as watching Bill Walker play PF when I went to a game in Chicago this past year.

Well that was my plan A roster, just in case that doesn't happen here is my plan B roster

PG - Mikki Moore, Mikki Moore,
SG - Mikki Moore, Mikki Moore, Mikki Moore
SF - Mikki Moore, Mikki Moore
PF - Mikki Moore, Mikki Moore, Mikki Moore
C - Mikki Moore, Mikki Moore

As you can see this team would have lots of depth and be a great group overall to put on the court.  We would most likely get the #1 seed and homecourt.   Great chance for another title too!!

Ok so maybe we get another big to fill in before Powe comes back.

That's weird because in the past 2 season he's logged ~120 games as Detroit's starting Center. Not saying it's his natural position, but clearly he can play there when needed. I think he backs up both Perk and KG. and I'm stoked to see how he and KG play on the court at the same time. It should really open the lane for Pierce and Rondo.

And turn us into a jump shooting team which lost the Celtics a few games in past two years when no one wanted to post up in the lane or drive to the hoop. Just playing devils advocate but still.....something to keep an eye on this year.

That is how I hope the roster can shake up after the off-season (I doubt it will turn out like this but I can hope)... Get rid of Allen through Daniels sign and trade and cut Pruitt.
