Really don't have any interest in Swift, after seeing his dismal, lead-footed performance in the summer league.

But if Ainge lands Daniels, then I suppose he deserves one of his 7-foot binkies at the end of the bench.

LOL. You're much more generous than I am. No more 7 foot projects for him I say. No matter who he lands. POB, Erden, Mikki... Maybe Swift will buck the trend but I'd rather much see that spot go to Leon.

Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I give the edge to Walker over Giddens too, but JR was Danny's 1st round pick so maybe he's not giving up on that move yet.  I see the Walker-Giddens comparison like the Powe-Baby comparison last year.  One guy is more ready to contibute now (Powe, Walker) while the other guy has more long term upside (Baby, Giddens).
I wish I've seen Giddens play more, because I think he could pass Walker this upcoming year.  I got to admit though, I like almost everything I've seen out of Walker.  Ideally I'd wanna keep them both and drop Pruitt.  Nonetheless, I'd rather have Giddens over Walker simply because i don't see either of them playing much this year.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

it really would be a slap in the face to give Leon's spot to this:

If Danny's offering anything tangible for the stiff that is Bob Swift, he's insane.
Besides Swift being on the Summer League team and wild speculation here, are there any legit sources saying that Danny wants to have him on this team?  Fill me in.

Danny picked Pruitt before BBD; would you say he thinks more of Pruitt now?

thats interesting - I don't think Powe would have done as well as Baby did in the replacing KG role in the playoffs - Babys ability to hit the 15-18 footer was huge for us

This is very funny:

    * DA: "Hey Larry, we're signing Daniels, wanna do a sign and trade?"
    * LB: "Sure, why not?  What'chu got?"
    * DA: "How about Tony Allen?"
    * LB: "Ha! Good one.  I don't think so.  How about Walker and Giddens?"
    * DA: "Hmm, I'd rather keep one of them.  How about Giddens and Pruitt?  You can waive Pruitt before Aug. 1st if you like.  That way you pick up a former first round pick without losing anything that you aren't already."
    * LB: "Maybe.  Lemme think about it."
    * DA: "Tell ya what, lets look around and see if we can get a third team involved.  Better yet, lets see if Utah needs help moving Boozer and shoehorn our way into that deal.  If we play our cards right we might each get a pick out of it."
    * LB: "Fine with me, I'm in no hurry.  You and Kevin still up for 18 holes on Friday?"
Still a sap for my kids -

Whatttttt?
Wasn't rebounding one of our biggest problems in the playoffs?

Yes, but the other issue was the Magic packing the paint and forcing us to take jumpers. So shooting ability was at a premium as well. We really needed both badly in the playoffs.
