I'll allow the kind folks at old-wizard.com to explain why I took Surfer:

Quote
The Silver Surfer is the on-again, off-again herald of Galactus. . . .  And like all heralds of Galactus, the Silver Surfer possesses the power cosmic, an energy source capable of doing almost anything, from re-arranging molecules, to energy blasts, to bringing people back from the dead. With the Silver Surfer it’s more of a question of what he can’t do, than what he can. He has enormous strength, can fly at light speed, and is nearly invulnerable (he has withstood the destructive power of stars and even black holes). He is virtually in-destructible, and only characters near his power level are capable of harming him. He can navigate through space, dimensional barriers, and hyperspace at will. He has even been depicted as capable of time travel on several occasions. Riding his board which is capable of traveling through space, made of the same cosmically powered silver material as his skin, and mentally linked to him, he’s almost unbeatable.

Fantastic, but he and Thanos both lose to Warlock with the Infinity Gauntlet. In fact, Warlock took the Gauntlet from Thanos the one time he obtained it. Don't play a player Roy. ;)

What good is the control over the three dimensional universe going to be when facing a 5 dimensional being like Mr. Mxyzptlk

Mr.M has to exist in the third dimension to have exert his power here. Once he's in the third dimension, he's subject to the Reality Gem. Yes, I am that awesome.

Only part of him will be.  The other part can turn the wearer into a bag of sand.

Man, I wish I could participate in this argument, but I'm completely unequipped to debate.

However, I do have this guy to get me out of any jam.

Not true, Mr.M exists wholely in the dimension he's occupying, thats why he can be banished back to the 5th.

I'd like to change my wild care pick please.

"How I chose Kareem over God", by SSFan

After fully reading the criteria, I realize that my pick has come up short and I'd like to release him and pick a person that has not been chosen yet.  Seeing that we are skipping over folks, I don't think this should be an issue.

Any one mind if I do so?
Still a sap for my kids -

Way much less of an interesting story than I was hoping for.  I was thinking maybe Kareem spoke to SSfan from a burning bush or something.

Kareem it is!  ;)
