Oh man...I am so ready for this.
There are two people who really, truly, taught me how to talk to women. In highschool you get so obsessed with trying to look cool, or tough, or whatever..you never really learn to enjoy the company of a lady. They're supposed to be fun, not a stress factor.
So in my first year of college I went back and watched a bunch of movies I watched with my dad when I was a kid. He thought they were hilarious...I never really got them. When I watched them when I was older, and finally i GOT them. The movies were "Caddyshack", "Ghostbusters", "Stripes", and "Spies Like Us".
They taught me that girls don't want serious, they want a guy who takes themself less seriously than the line they just tried to pass off as romance. They taught me that you can be funny AND cool.
And in that spirit, for the actor category, I pick Bill Murry, circa 1982. When he showed us characters like Peter Venkman, John Winger, and Tripper Harrison. You, Bill Murray circa 1982, are my hero.
