When was the last time anyone saw Tinsley play?  Seems like it's been a long time.  Remember how Marbury looked when he hadn't played in a long time?  No thanks.  I'd rather have Marbury.

Plus, Tinsley's a knucklehead off the court, while Marbury is not.  And we already know Marbury will behave himself.

I am a big believer in passing on both.  Marbury has also been a knucklehead off the court.  He was part of that big sexual harassment case against the Knicks.

Ya, I agree.  Marbury would be preferred, but as a fallback, Tinsely's got talent.

LOL.  Marbury is not?  99% of NBA fans would disagree.  BTW, I agree that Tinsley is a head-case, but a one-year minimum deal seems worth the risk if Marbury falls through.  No?

It's just that I don't know of any off court issues with Marbury, except the incident with Isiah Thomas.

I wouldn't hate the idea, but I think I'd prefer Marbury, and to be honest, probably House.  Honestly, I'm fairly indifferent who our backup is at this point.  This team is so good that it's going to win 65-70 games no matter who the backup PG is.  Come playoff time, Rondo's going to play north of 40 mpg anyway, so who plays the measly 5-8 mpg in the 2nd and 3rd quarters is not going to be of major consequence.

I don't want either of them.

The guy I really want is Roko Leni-Ukic, who seems to be the odd man out now that the Raptors have acquired Jarret Jack.
Roko has to improve his defense, but he has all the tools on offense, and he's 6-4.

I didn't know Marbury sexually harassed someone.

Well, he admitted to having intercourse in the back seat of his truck with a Knicks' intern who worked for Browne-Sanders, but the sex was apparently consensual and he was not charged with anything.

Well, sorry, but that's what I consider an "off court issue."

Why not try to pick him up, have him back up Rondo if Marbury isn't gonna come back?
