This according to Marc Stein at ESPN. So much for the C's getting him.

Not sure if you heard, but we signed Marquis Daniels.
God bless and good night!

I don't think the Celts were that interested after landing Daniels.

The interesting thing will be to see if Miami matches.  Cleveland can't have too much money left after signing Anthony Parker.

I almost wigged out until I realized it was the other Tony Parker.

[dang]. I actually wanted him. I don't know how much Cleveland has to offer (it depends on how much of the MLE they have left after Parker, though it would be around the same as the LLE).

This actually upsets me, because as a pure SF, i think Moon fits our team better than Daniels, especially since he's a better defender and can shoot the 3 (though Daniels can play more positions).

I hope Miami matches though.

One more reason to go out and get a stacked bench!

Depends on the terms, but if they're really committed to Beasley at the 3 they might just let him go.

Agreed. Daniels is better suited at the 2. Moon at the 3.

I think we won't know for a full week. Miami is going to be working on the Boozer/Odom deals during that time for sure.

I really hope Miami matches the offer. Anyone know the exact amount of money that Cleveland can offer Moon? And does this decision affect the amount of money the Heat can offer Lamar Odom straight up (no sign and trades)?

I'd so much rather have Moon than Daniels. He's more of what we need and he's gonna help their bench a lot.

Wow, I cant believe that with who we have signed that there is still some discontent around here. We cant get everyone that's a free agent. It reminds me of a kid that gets the toy he always wanted and then goes to school and  is jealouse of what his friend just bought. We are sitting pretty good right now and there is no need to have envy of what the cavs have done. We are still going to be the team in the east.
Back to wanting Joe fired.
