Cause reading all these scouting reports on him, thats what it sounds like.

He's more of a slasher than a shooter, when he's on he's really on, and when he's off he's really off.

If this is true, I'm going to assume that TA will be a piece in a trade if we choose to do it, whether he's included in the big baby sign and trade if the front office decides to do it.

Cause I'm pretty sure there's no need for both players on this team.  And I'm still a Tony fan, and Daniels is here I say we trade TA just for his sake.  Cause he needs to go somewhere where he'll get playing time.  That didn't really happen here anyway and if Daniels is here then definately won't happen at all.

While I think Daniels takes the ball out of TA's hands when teamed with House, I still don't trust TA with a small bench role.  He needs to be a starter on a lotto team.

Maybe Chicago has a contract waiting for TA ...isn't that his hometown(city)?

My thoughts exactly.

That being said, Marquis Daniels has regressed on a bad team with his role continuously changing (his minute fluctuations were quite ridiculous). In Dallas, with a set role, he played very well, with his 2 best seasons in dallas having a TO rate of less than 10% and almost 20% assist rate. I think we can hope to get that production.

If not, we do have someone whose bigger than TA, and a more proficcient scorer, who can at times play a ball handling role.

Also, his numbers are misinterpreted. He was asked to shoot the 3 in Indiana, hence the almost 2 attempts per game, even though scouting reports list him as being a very, very efficient inside scorer (he had very few 3pt attempts in Dallas and had almost 50% FG).

I think in the right system he can very solid, and I liked him a lot in Dallas. He's definitely better than TA and cheaper too.

Side Note: In the LLE, is the second year a team option?

I've watched a few games where he played and he never disappointed me. He can light it up in the key with ease, his defense will probably improve being here since we're a defense first team. Everyone said Marbury would always be awful on D and he impressed me alot in his time here.

Daniels is not only a upgrade but a well rounded play. He could play the 1, 2 or 3. He's not a shooter and we don't need him to be with House on the floor and Wallace. I favor his bll handling and scorers mentaliy thats why I agree to this acquisition. We still need a PF or C a Back-up if G-Davis makes a move.

Starters:
1 = RR
2 = RA
3 = PP
4 = KG
5 = KP

2ND String:
1 = EH/MD
2 = MD/EH
3 = MD/BW/BS lol(@ his initials) or Another Free Agent (Preferably Jerry StackHouse & or Tim Thomas
4 = RW/GD/BS or Another Free Agent (Preferably Tim Thomas)
5 = RW/GD/BS Or Another Free Agent (Preferably Someone Better than Mikki Moore) Ha!

 I would think that's exactly what they're looking for. They need a "tony allen type" off the bench. would've been easier if tony could've done it himself, but i think he's run out of chances.

My God, is this a joke?

Please, please, please don't even put those two in the same sentence

Tony Allen is an imcompetant, inconsistent, knuckle-head, while Daniels is a proven NBA player.

we are an excellent jump shooting team, but slashing to the hoop is a critical element and there is probably room for both of them.

Too bad we don't have a scorer who specializes in back to the basket (remembering Big Al), because then we would have the most versatile half court offense in the league.  Does adding Wallace help Garnett camp the low block more?  lets hope so.

What´s wrong with being an improved Tony Allen?

Is Rasheed Wallace going to be just an improved Mikki Moore?

And Marquis can handle the ball. That instantly separates him from TA by a wide margin.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

There's nothing wrong with being an "improved Tony Allen", but when you thrown in the word "just" it implies that he is merely a slight upgrade from TA, which is comppletely unfair
