I've always liked him and his numbers are down from his prime but i think he could backup Rondo well.

  • Rondo = Good
The problem I see is that he has always been more of a shoot-first scoring PG / SG.  Eddie House already fills that role for us.  The positive, though, is that he has the size to defend smaller SGs which would give him good synergy with Eddie.

However, ideally we'd get a decent defender who can pass well and has a pass-first mentality.  Bobby Jackson could be our best option for a 10 minute per night guy at the veteran minimum.

Bobby Jackson plays the hardest though. He also is very careful with the ball (very low TO rate).

I'd prefer Earl Watson though, since he looks to distribute. His scoring and TO rate aren't much to be desired, but in a better set system, he can be better playing with the starting lineup than any other minimum salary pg out there (also I see him as a great combo with House).

I'd prefer we have Marquis play back up 1 on offense and back up 2 on D. I think he and Eddies are going to play really well of each other. Now get to resigning Baby and we can rest happy.

Watson make too much turnovers, I'd prefer Jackson any day of the week, plus the dfact that Bobby play hardest

Watson's gone. with Daniels ballhandling ability I like the idea of Royal Ivey. He's a big PG with defensive ability. It means Tony can play off the ball on O and guard the PG position on D while Ivey makes the same switch from O to D. He's also generally healthy, which Jackson rarely is. I do like Jackson's shooting tho...

Jackson came into the league known for his defense, I've kind of lost track of him, not sure that's a good thing, but from what I remember, I always liked him - tough, hardworker; he'd be welcome on my team

Answering my own question, he's most likely going to the Pacers.

Jackson however is more like an Eddie House guy. I'd prefer a high passing guard.
