Hope that Jeff uses this heading to title the Daniels' signing. It is the (unintentional) translation of the Chinese character tattoo on his arm that was intended to be his initials.  Can't make this stuff up.

if the tatoo being referred to for "big woman...." is the one shown in the daniels thread, then it aint so.

what i saw there would not be be understood by most chinese that way. what i saw was typical of most chinese character tatoos by americans i have seen.... poorly written gibberish.

but in any case, i am glad the celtics signed daniels.

"Small Baby Laughing"
or something like that...

i said its not lame to get a tattoo in a language ur not fluent in.....however, it is very lame not to do ur homework and screw up ur tattoo

Just knowing what a symbol means doesn't mean you've done your "homework".  You still can't read it or know anything about it.

Now if a player could recreate the symbol on demand and explain why it means that, and what era the symbol was invented it, and how to make the symbol negative...well that would impress me because that is homework.

if someone has a particular word that is important to them, and say they love the asian culture, that would be acceptable.

as i said in that old tattoo thread a week ago, it is a person's body to do what they like.  if they like it, thats all that matters.  people shouldnt pass judgement or degrade them for that, imo.
