PG - Johnny Flynn - I love this guy, he can jump through the roof and is intense. Plus Ricky Rubio will probably take 10 years before he is in the NBA.
“They played well when they had to. Paul Pierce is the best in the business when it comes to hitting fourth-quarter shots.”

Good. Except your missing a SG, SF, PF, and C.

PG - Johnny Flynn - I love this guy, he can jump through the roof and is intense. Plus Ricky Rubio will probably take 10 years before he actually plays a game.

SG - James Harden - His scoring might be down b/c of Durant and Westbrook. But OKC has a good young team.

SF - Terrence Williams - I know he is projected as a SG by ESPN, but whatever.

PF - Blake Griffin - Just obvious...unless the Clipper curse hits him.

C - Hasheem Thabeet - I think he will come in and be a dominant force defensively right away. He will be better then Greg Oden.

Of course I have no idea what I'm talking about...so this is just a random guess. I'm just a huge Johnny Flynn fan to for some reason.

G Tyreke Evans
G Steph Curry
G James Harden
G/F Demar DeRozan
C Blake Griffin

I feel fairly good about four of those picks. The final one is a tough choice, but I'm going to go with DeRozan's inefficient scoring, I think that'll win the votes.

I like your thinking. I went with Daye because I think people are going to be surprised just how versatile he is and that he will be able to post up SFs better than people think.

Looks a little small.  You gotta pick a Center.

I think they always pick the 5 best not necessarily one per position but yeah, you're right the Rookie team will be small this year. The value in the draft was in PGs and SGs

G: Jonny Flynn - I think he'll do a great job running the team and looking at the roster, he looks like the second offensive option already behind big Al.

G: James Harden - Absolutely love his game. He'll start from day one at 2 guard and could make a great impact. Overall, i think OKC could be 1 or 2 players away from really being scary. Look for them to be in the playoffs in 2010 or 2011.

G: Tyreke Evans - Will probably put up good numbers with the ball in his hands a lot and look for him to have a solid impact.

F: Blake Griffin - No brainer here. Griffin could avg a double double this year with about 12 and 10 and that should get him on this team without a doubt.

F: DeJuan Blair - Could be the first big off the bench this season for SA and with the team bringing in Jefferson and McDyess, he could get some good old fashion garbage minutes and add a couple more rebounds to his stat line.

I went with three guards instead of a center because last year Rose, Westbrook, and Mayo were choosen so why not this year as well.

By the way, i dont see Steph Curry making this team because how many shots will he get up per game behind Jackson, Ellis, Maggette, and the emerging Randolph.

Flynn - hope Big Al gets healthy and this will be a fun team to watch. Flynn is just electric.

Evans - my pick for ROY

Harden - He was p---ing off the OKC staff down in Orlando with some of his antics (doing some weird hand signals after hitting a 3 and not getting back on defense, but he is definitely a player

Clark - like his versalitity for PHX...that offensive system will make him look good...might get some Diaw type numbers

Griffin - I think the rebounding/hustle points type of offense will help him out immensely, but i don't expect him to be dominant offensively from day one. his shot has already improved a great deal, but it still has a ways to go. Should be fun to watch him this year.
