I was thinking about going tomorrow with some friends. I havent been since I was a little kid.  For those of you in the boston area, have any of you been recently? will I be dissapointed and be expecting to much?

Wish I could help you, haven't been there since the mid-90s.

I used to always have a blast up there, though.

we love Canobie (kids are 9 / 6).  Clean and fun.  It gets a bit crowded but that's to be expected at any amusement park.
sometimes you have to bite your lip, exhale and move on.  So, I have.

I haven't been to the park in ages, but Canobie Lake has some gr8 largemouth bass fishing. Smallmouth bass fishing isn't too bad either.

i havent been to canobie lake since the early 90's.  it was really small back then.  i have heard they added some rides and a water park to it, but that it is still small.

i say go to 6 flags, where u know what u get.

I'm absolutely terrified of roller coasters so I prefer Canobie Lake Park over Six Flags. There really isn't much there, though.

did you end up going?

I remember going a few years back and thinking, wow we used to think this place was so cool, but its kinda lame - but there is the nostalgia - I think my favorite attraction was the house of mirrors, in part because my friend banged his face on a plastic wall...
