  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
This is going on the cover of my DVD.

I'll go with you.  We can be like Patrick Swayze & Chris Farley in the Chippendales audition.

You have yourself a deal.

Sweet!  I really think we could sell this.  8)

Like gangbusters, the potential dance routines, the acrobatics, the singing, the possibilities are endless.

    * Purchase and manage upkeep on all uniforms/costumes and props used by Lucky

You have to buy your own costume(s)?  Really, Celtics, you can't spring for a leprechaun suit?

That doesn't mean you have to pay for it out of your own pocket - just that you need to be the one to actually shop for it.

Toine's looking for work...

That would be pretty awesome actually.  Maybe if a Nevada judge has a sense of humor that could be part of his parole.

Instead of all the acrobatics Lucky would concentrate on Wigglin' and putting his hand to his ear in the classic crowd pleasing "I can't hear you" pose.
Yup

Did anyone see this on Celtics.com?

http://www.nba.com/celtics/contact/lucky-the-leprechaun-celtics-mascot.html

Lucky the Leprechaun
"The Boston Celtics are now accepting applications for the full-time position of team mascot...Lucky the Leprechaun.

Lucky has entertained fans from the youngest of children to the lifelong Celtics fan. Lucky has cheered with the fans of Boston with crowd-pleasing antics and high-energy dunk shows. Not only are Lucky's skills on display in the Garden, but also as a major contributor to the Boston community, appearing in hundreds of special appearances throughout the region."

I was hoping we were done with this.  I nominate Redz to apply on behalf of Celtics Blog since I know how much he loved the "other" Lucky.   ;)

I'm pretty sure someone posted that the Celtics where hiring about a week or two ago.

I would think after half our team getting injured last season in some form or another, they'll be a massive effort to bring Lucky back.

If they don't mind someone who can't jump or run, I'm all for it.  Instead of trampolining dunks I'll just tell bad jokes. The fans will love it.
Yup

I searched and didn't see it. Sorry I didn't see this when it originally posted.   The photos are hilarious.
