So now it's Al Harrington?

Is this where we get trade scenarios where Boston fans know there has to be a way you can get the Knicks to send you Harrington and Mouhamed Sene for a S&T BBD, Scals, TA, Giddens, Walker, Mikki, a bowl of Clam Chowder, a case of Bulfinch British Pale Ale, a sack full of burgers from Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage and couple of pieces of parquet floor from the old Boston Gah-den?

Ugh.

What team is looking to give him a big offer?

Then they shouldn't be on that list.

No one is offering anything for him because he's not moving.

I was just commenting on how names are just tossed out and trade scenarios are divised when it's completely uneccessary because it's just not going to happen. Harrington is under contract and I believe is due around 10 mil. this season. The Knicks would want to move a good player and an big expiring contract to help the Celtics out why again?

I don't mind the constant trade scenarios, but can't we at least make the attempt to keep them somewhat realistic?

Well, if you read, the original poster that created the list thought they were all Free Agents, otherwise, he would not have listed them as "not signed yet"

Why would anyone want to trade for a 10 million a year Harrington?

FA's that I think would crack the C's top 9, if they can land them:

Odom, Lee, Miller, M Williams are way too expensive

I think these guys are as well: Kleiza, Warrick, Childress, Felton, Sessions

Here's who's left that I like:

J Smith
D Gooden
C Wilcox
J Moon
R Carney
M Barnes
M Daniels
G Davis
F Oberto
R Nesterovic
K Bogans

I dont think Miller and Rondo can coexist. Rondo is going to want allstar minutes. Miller wont be happy with 10-15 minutes per game. He has too much talent for that.

Minutes are a key when we look at players and they look at Boston. They're plenty of time on this roster for a 2/3. And not much for anyone else of high caliber.

yes they want minutes
but the want ring more specially miller because fighting for losing teams all his carrer
I am not paying him less
and
PP, RAy , KG and Sheed
would not allowe any insurrection on minutes
the one who play best
play more
easy as that

I know I've already told it but I think Flip Murray is a very good bench player and he could help us a lot, in many ways offensively! I think he's a much improved version of TA and I'd take him any day! Al Harrington, Linus Kleiza and Jamario Moon would be great additions too! Especially Kleiza is a non-softie Euro( which is quite remarakble :p) and I think is the only one of those 3 who plays at a satisfying level of both offense AND defense, cuz Harrington is a better offensive player and Moon plays better D! I think we need this kind of a balanced player, cuz we got much stronger offensively with Sheed, but we still need a backup wing who can score!

If the Celtics sign Kwame Brown I won't watch a single game this year.
