If the Suns let him go, how would you like him to be a Celtic?

he 's decent but he's a stand still. If we're bringing anyone in it has to be a creator. StackHouse, Flip Murray, Allen Iverson etc...

Why would you want Iverson... He is a team and chemistry killer... and only wants to start and would be a terrible back up pg because he only cares about himself and wants to score points for himself and make himself look good… The Celtics are about TEAM Basketball… And Allen Iverson is NOT A TEAM PLAYER!

And Stackhouse is not a creator he is a spot up shooter and I don't even think he can do that any more... He has no defense and who knows how his health is now.

The Celtics do not need a creator.  They need floor spreaders so their creators have more room.

If he is waived, I could see him as the 4th wing if he has his shot working.

I'm uncomfortable with Pavlovic playing say 20 minutes a night.

But if he was playing behind the guy who plays 20mins a game, then I'd be good with him joining the Celtics. He still wouldn't be one of first choices for the role, but he'd be a solid choice.

Funny you should say that. I have always really liked his game and wondered why he didn't play more. He seems to me to be in the Nocioni mold.

Well, I think you are both right.  I think the C's do need another creator, but now that Hill and Parker are gone, there is no other wings I feel comfortable with the ball in their hands.  So at this point, they are better off trying to get a guy who can spread the floor on the wing, play decent defense, and then bring in a backup PG who can run the offense off the bench.

I don't think we need a creator in the second unit. We could certainly use one but I think if we were to pick the most important characteristic of a back up wing it is good defense. Pavlovic can play decent defense and hit the open shot, I'm on board.

I think its worth noting too that Pavlovic was rumored to be a favorite of Ainge's when he was drafted.  Not sure that means anything now, but Danny has been known to go after his Binkies.
