Just some strange coincidences:
The Boxers where involved in their 10th trade during this season's 100th trade, which the Boxers were a part of.
The Boxers were involved in the only 2 multiple team trades in the league, both three ways(and would like to be a part of the only 4 way if three others want to swap a bunch of 14's and 15's for meeting the challenge).
The Boxers emptied over 40 pages of Inbox and 40 pages of Outbox PM's during the course of this game thus far.
I feel like if I added up all the PM's I've sent during the course of this draft and compared them to all my PMs for the rest of the year, the ones from the draft would double or triple the other total.
Easily. Maybe 10 times the amount for me. Luckily I type fast and this game isn't all that different from what I do for my business so the application of having to work this game isn't all that different from a real life working philosophy.
Blowing a lot of smoke for a team that isn't that good, especially considering all the trades! No offense just being honest.
No offensive taken. Not everyone is going to like my team. But I did start out with my highest asset being the 28th pick in the 1st round and I am going for a Future Team look. Besides, head to head, I would take my team over the Hawks every single time just as a competitive team, nevermind in the Future team voting.
Calderon is better than Felton but as PG position as a whole I'll take Felton/Carter/Watson over Calderon/Lowry
Is there really any comparison at the SG position? Kevin Martin kills everything you throw that way and Martin's reall backup is Steven Jackson who will be switching to the 2 when Wally subs in.
Granger is awesome and McGrady is hardly ever on the floor and is a loser. But Jackson matches up very well with Granger and at least Wally tries on defense(he drove Ray nuts in 2008 playoffs) and can drain the three like there's no one's business. Starters and overall the SF position is a push.
Jason Thompson trumps everything I have at the PF position but I like my PF fit into the big team picture with Ryan's ability to extend the floor with three point shooting and all three are young and good defensively. You win the PF spots though.
At center, I'm not sure Hibbert can outplay my backup Aaron Gray nevermind Biedrins. Biedrins in a stomp. Huge
Coaching. Same here. Van Gundy stomps Nique.
Overall, take a look at my parts. There's a really good fit and balance in the starters and lots of skills on the bench. Not great individual players, but great individual skills for the coach to use as needed and go 11-12 deep depending on the situation.
I love my team. Young skilled. Good defenders. Some good experience and playoff leadership. Potential All-Stars at at least four different positions. I'll take that over a selfish broken down pair of has beens like AI and TMac and the group you surrounded them with.
