Nice one.  We had him rated highly, and have no major concerns about his injuries going forward.

I hear Shaq and Brad Miller are best buddies  ;D

Haha.  They have a healthy respect for one another as competitors.  Shaq likes guys who aren't intimidated by him.

Thank you. We didn't feel concern about the wrist either going forward. Finished last year strong and he'll be ready for mini camp.

So shaq to Portland for the other Oneil or Hawes I'm guessing.

And if there was some accuracy to that report, what would people think?

yawn.

shaq is still imposing, but you can see the effect he has on a team w/o a mega-star personality (i.e. Wade, Lebron, Kobe) at this point in his career.

interesting/overwhelming to have the Crotornaats hyping their team in stereo this year  ;)  POR wasn't as good as they sold themselves as last year and I don't think they will be again this year, trade or no trade... just my 2 cents

Shaq in the middle, kicking it out to Rashard Lewis, Michael Redd, Mike Bibby, and Manu Ginobili, is a pretty good recipe for success, I think.

That strategy took Orlando to the finals last year, and our team is more complete.  (Rashard is Rashard, Bibby > Alston, Manu > Hedu, Redd > Lee, and Portland's bench >>> Orlando's bench.)

However, I wouldn't expect you to concede.  It's one of the things we like about you, GC.

The recipie is good, i'm just not sure everyone's ready to give Shaq the # of touches he wants on this POR team... he'll defer to guys like Wade and (this season) to Lebron, but not IMO to guys like Lewis, Bibby and Redd... Manu, maybe.

Ando outside of Phoenix, Shaq's possiblity for injury goes up some-to-significantly, IMO.

With a healthy anti-Portland bias. ;)

Shaq wants to win, so that he can regain his lead over Kobe in championships.  He respects guys like Manu, who have earned their NBA legacy.

If a hypothetical trade like this were to go down, it would be a good move for Portland in the short term.

Portland's damp climate isn't good for the rheumatoid arthritis.

The Crotornats training staff better stock up on the Icy Hot.

I don't like the move either.

Great pick by Milwalkee though. I heard center was a "gaping hole" for them.
