And if there was some accuracy to that report, what would people think?

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.

That would be better than what they have now.  I'm leery of their big man situation, and Shaq would provide a temporary upgrade for a win-now team.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

That Roy bashed Shaq last night, which was either a ploy to get his value down (Portland's argument) or the truth...Shaq isn't that good anymore...especially on defense.which was Roy's eval last night

Shaq is still excellent at man-to-man defense.  He struggles a bit covering the pick-and-roll, but he'd be excellent if paired next to a long, elite defender, such as, say, Jermaine O'Neal.

That your one of my top 4 teams, but i have series questions about the health/ ability of your team to compete with some others.

I think that trade would be a win though. hawes is young and talented, but you trying to win now, which the diesel helps.

Jermaine ive never liked, so if its him for shaq, also good.

The problem is shaq doesn't really solve my two biggest questions with portland, namely durability and if these older players will hold up with lmited drop off in skill.

I think Portland's a team that could look like a world beater come our re-evals at the 6 month mark or have several key guys out/ under preforming.

I think that's how we see it, too.  I have us as #1 overall, honestly, but I don't think it's possible to prove that until down the line.  There are some durability questions to be answered.

I think roy and eddy have little interest in rondo with he team the've built, his lack of shooting would kill them with the bigs the (reportedly) have.

they need shooters that they can kick the ball out to, not slashers who are trying to weave between 4 bigs in the paint.
