The more I read about this CB Draft thing the more I am amazed that a team consisting of these players won the voting as best team

Shaquille O'Neal, Jermaine O'Neal, Rashard Lewis, Michael Redd, Mike Bibby, Manu Ginobili, Brad Miller, Delonte West, Ryan Gomes, Ronny Turiaf, Jrue Holiday, Quinton Ross, Jared Dudley, Fred Jones, Taj Gibson

The owner of this team had to be pretty persuasive to have convinced people time and again to vote for this group of rabble as championship worthy

Especially when, in comparison, teams like this were involved

Lebron James, Jason Richardson, Marc Gasol, Kirk Hinrich, Charlie Villanueva, Andrew Varejao, Jeff Foster, Sebastian Telfair, Dominic McGuire, Aaron Afflalo, Darrell Arthur, Damien Wilkins, Ty Lawson, Trenton Hassell, Joel Antony

Chris Paul, Pau Gasol, Kevin Martin, Al Horford, Raja Bell, Ryan Anderson, Keith Bogans, Deshawn Stevenson, Hilton Armstrong, Jason Williams, Javaris Crittendon, James Johnson, Chase Buddinger, Austin Daye, Chris Mihm

Dwayne Wade, Nene, Antonio McDyess, Chris Anderson, Leandro Barbosa, Rafer Alston, Rasaul Butler, Jared Jeffries, Tayshaun Prince, Jarvis Hayes,, Jerry Stackhouse, Will Bynum, Darius Miles

Jason Kidd/Jason Terry/Shawn Marion/Josh Smith/David Lee/Al Harrington/Sam Dalembert/Marquis Daniels/Anthony Carter/Sasha Vujacic/Brandon Jennings/James Singleton/Mark 'Mad Dog' Madsen/Dontell Jefferson

Carlos Boozer, Steve Nash, Mehmet Okur, Corey Maggette, Luol Deng, Tyreke Evans, Jason Kapono, Danillo Gallinari, Eddie House, Demar Derozen, Desagna Diop, Ime Udoka, Chuck Hayes, Sean Williams, Jamal Tinsley

Want to win a title, you have to have a top 5 or at the very least, a couple top 10 players in the league on your team

That team that won didn't have a top 30 player in the league on it

Must have been some PR campaign there

 ;D
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
You have no idea..it was nuts. There was one GM, who isn't with us anymore, that actually believed they'd get significant production out of Darko Milicic, Julian Wright, and Tyronn Lue! Joel Pryzbilla was actually his starting center! He was right about Gerald Wallace though. Man he would argue until he was blue in the face sometimes...ah, good times. :)

Of course, I myself put my faith in Josh Howard as my leading swingman. He's bouncing back now, but he's had a rough season so far.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.

Don't forget the suggestion that his inability to add Adonal Foyle in the free agent period could have been the difference between making the playoffs and not.

Believe me, it was more interesting at the time.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
The right team won at the time.  Obviously, the injury to Redd is a killer, but Portland still would earn a 4 - 6 seed, at worst.  Some of the depth picks -- such as Jared Dudley, Taj Gibson and Carlos Delfino -- paid off in a big way.  Regardless of where they'd finish based on a vote today, I think the CrotoNats were a pretty well-constructed team, when you consider that they began play with something like the 17th pick in the draft, and didn't make a pick until the 2nd round.

In a re-vote, I've got Golden State and Orlando in the Finals, I think.  I still don't like Chicago's team to come out of the East, and the injuries to Gasol, Kmart, and Bell were pretty much exactly as expected.  The injury to CP3 is the real killer, though.

Ah, yes, Adonal Foyle...  That argument was pretty petty and ridiculous, but what do you expect in a competition like this, right?

As long as we can tweak our rosters first, yeah?

What do you mean tweak our rosters? Like open up a new trading session? Or just pick up players off waivers?

Open up trading for a week, see where he goes.

eh, forget the trading...that could open up a whole new can of worms.  i think just a straight up review of teams and revote would be fun...same for team of the future.

Or just general roster tweaking. For instance I ended the summer thinking my starting 5 was going to be TP/Cook/Chandler/Diaw/Brook Lopez

Now it would be: TP/Chandler/Casspi/Bargs/Lopez.  With Mo Will, Diaw, Cook and Fernandez making up the bench. Remind me again how we missed the playoffs?

I think you'd struggle to make the playoffs again. You'd have some serious trouble defensively.

Aside from Bargs, who is an excellent weakside defender, who on my team would you consider a sieve?
