And MVP voting from 2007/2008
http://www.sportscity.com/nba/2007-08-nba-mvp-voting-results
Manu did get nine 5th place votes for a total of 9 points for the record. He was solid. Chris Paul finished with 28 first place votes 64 2nd place votes 32 third place votes and two 4th place votes and 894 total points
Sorry, I didn't realize that either Edgar or I had said Manu is better than Chris Paul. Our mistake.
Chris Paul is better than Manu. Portland is better than Chicago. You know, the team that *doesn't* rely on guys who are currently out of the league or lazy rookies in its rotation.
Again with the misinformation. J-Will had gotten offers to play in the NBA and is weighing them, similar to Lee, Robinson, Sessions, etc. My rookies are my 12-14th men. You keep talking like Manu is an MVP candidate, when the fact is I looked it up and he didn't get not one single first, second, third, or 4th place vote. And that was a couple seasons ago. Your team was built for 2006. Sorry, but as many times as you try and power play your way to this popularity title, the fact remains your team would implode in real life over too many egos, injuries, old age, horrendous defense in the back court, players arguing over minutes, and a shoot first point guard.
All the lipstick you want to put on Shaq won't disguise the fact that Miami had to move him to get better and now Phoenix was willing to eat ten million dollars to move him. Sorry, just because your the mod doesn't mean I have to like your flawed team. I find that unfair.
