i wish someone had told me Peja "sucks." We may not have drafted him.
I like Peja at this point. He can still be a major threat from the outside but...
Is he a good fit for the speed the rest of your team seems to be playing at?
Is he ideal for a fast breaking team? no.
BUT
when i think about what you want from a bench, i think about late game situations and what those situations call for. Typically there are 4 types of players you want to be able to go to in a time of need -- ball handling, 3 pt/free throw shooting, man defense, and rebounding.
Peja is a one dimentional player, but what he brings is the ability to keep your team in any game. We're talking about a guy who, 2 years ago, shot almost 45% from 3!!! that's insane!!
at pick 143 i think you cant ask for more then a guy who is one of the best shooters of our generation.
