But Rasheed has never flourished at the primary option.  He has been more successful playing through other players in a team oriented game and working himself into the game.  A successful bench player usually comes into the game with high energy and gets involved in the game immediately.

If Danny offered Sheed the starting role, he would have to talk to Perk first. The best case scenario would be Perk offering to come off the bench.

how about they split the starting time at the beginning of the season to see what works better.

For teams like Orlando and Cleveland we need Perk to start to be a legit defensive force against foes like Howard or Shaq. He's Kryptonite.

Makes more sense for rasheed to come off the bench since he can play center or pf.  I think danny has more than enough respect for doc that he wouldn't be offering anyone a starting posistion and 'sheed is a team player, whatever the team needs.
we need perks d against true centers!

Of course he has.  He just never needed to be the primary option. 


And even if he comes off the bench, how is he not part of a team oriented game?
