Idiotic move by Turk.
Raptors aren't going to be a real threat this year in the post-season (who knows if they'll even make the playoffs?), and they might be pretty bad in a year or two if Bosh leaves.
On the other hand, Portland is on the up-and-up, and they could be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the West this year, especially if they were to get Hedo.
Hedo looks like a real money grubbing loser if he goes with Toronto over Portland just for a few million bucks.
Not to mention if he had just stayed in Orlando for a bit less money they'd perhaps be the best team in the league....
This is not that big of a deal for us, but it isn't good - it makes a team in our conference better and makes it less likely that a team that could threaten the Lakers out West will be able to do so.
Although, on the flip side, this makes it much more likely that Parker and Marion will sign with other teams. Perhaps Marion will try to go to the Blazers - it's unlikely he'd settle for an MLE contract or less with a contending team - but you never know. Parker could be a potential option for us too, though I have a feeling he'll got to the Cavs.
