I hate to do this. But with so many holes to fix, and the possibility of Rasheed signing with the spurs. Are we going to wait for his majesty? We waited on Posey remember. Portland team is loaded, and has a huge hole @ PG. If we can get some value in return for Rondo, then we should trade Rondo. Its a difficult decision. But our "Window" is supposedly closing fast. With the mount of money tied up with the Big3, Rondo is the most valuable asset.

Receive:
Rudy, Travis, Blake

Sent:
Rondo

Blake isn't Rondo, but good enough to lead Portland to 54 wins. But the cake is getting Rudy fernandez & Travis Outlaw. Hopefully, Rasheed still sign, if not our possibilities are endless. We'll have a team to win it now, and a future with Travis & Rudy.

Not a terrible trade idea, more realistic than alot of trade ideas i've seen on this sight. But there are just so many trade threads on this sight, i think we're all just a little burnt out.

Just sign sheed and hill, and get ready for the season.

No this would be a poor trade. We'd be giving up the best player in the deal and wouldn't be getting an established star player back.

Just sign sheed and MARION, and get ready for the season.

If you are a Portland fan.  This deal is flat out awful.  Almost as bad as Richard Jefferson for the three scrubs he was dealt for AND this deal doesn't have positive financial implications.

Scratch that package, I take back my proposal. My greatest worry is that Rondo is still developing. Rondo could be a monster in a few years once he hits prime.

Unfortunately, I can't imagine Marion signing with Boston for the LLE or vet minimum, which is all we'd have after Sheed.  Hill might be willing to do it for a ring, but everything Marion's done the last few years indicates he wouldn't.

Awful.
