Coach K to the Celts? How would you feel?

I put this is the rumor section due to the recent Coach K to the Lakers rumors, and because this is a rumor I'd love to start if it made any sense at all.

Assuming Coach K is lying and that an amount similar to what Coach Rick Pittino got (you know the one. He's the guy smiling on the cover of his book "Success is a choice") would get Coack K to the Celts would you want him some day?

I'd have to lean towards yes. Are there reasons why we wouldn't want this? Are there coaches you'd way rather have if possible?

When I said "Some day" I should have been more clear about my assumption that it would be after Doc left or was fired in maybe 5 years or so

while doc is far from a good coach, coach k has never coached pro
he is a fine coach but being a pro coach you have to deal with players who won't play for you, contract seasons, etc etc
coach k has already turned down many nba offers? why the post, because i'd say these are fringe rumors at best and they happen every year then mike says i wasn't interested, man in near godlike in dukeville

Wasn't he once offered the Celtics job once before and said no? What's going to change his mind now....or hypothetically 5 years from now or whenever Doc and then Coach Thibs are done?

Before Pitino, Red went after him hard.  I think one of his daughters was going to school up here at the time and he was seriously considering it.  I believe ML ended the coach.

Things definitely would have been different that's for sure.  But Duke is his life now, there's no leaving Durham or Cameron.
