How about Scal,Tony, and Giddens for Shane  Battier? The Rockets now have no chance at competing next season because of the departure of Ron Ron and the injuries to T-mac and Yao, So come on help a team out that can... BEAT L.A.!

A bench of House, Battier, Baby and Sheed wouldn't be too bad.

If we could trade for him that would be AWESOME.

I actually threw that in the trade checker a while ago, except I put Dorsey coming our way. But yeah, getting Battier would be amazing.

i hearby call for a moratorium on all trade ideas based strictly on ta, sal and giddens until january, unless it involves taking back a guy who has serious issues and three years left on his deal. shane battier? who in the world would do this? no one wants ta, scal and giddens. no one.

Well, they are signing Ariza so apparently they aren't giving up.  Or maybe that's part of their rebuilding effort?

Ariza is only 24, so signing him can be spun either way.

Morey's done a superb job with that team and they overachieve no matter what their injury situation. If anyone can rebuild on the fly, it's him. Ariza's a great move for them.
