I think this is kinda awesome.  Take two of the biggest dirtbags with the worst sense of sportsmanship and put them on the same team.  Makes it easy for all of America to hate the LA.

I do agree that it LA gets too much crooked trades and players playing "for nothing"-- I am still bitter about the pau gasol trade.  However I think showing Ariza the door is a grave mistake.  Wouldn't you say that he was the biggest improvement on the lakers from a year ago?  I think this gives us an edge in a way, and I think Paul Pierce will get his points just fine, thank you very much!

Awesome.  The Cavs are screwed now if they can't get Ariza, and the Lakers might implode because of Artest.  If Artest exposes Kobe as a bad teammate and ends the lies, I'll root for him regardless of what team he plays for.

This scares me a little. I really think we should get Sheed and make another fairly big splash with someone like Marion or Hill.. But there is not a need to panic right now..

Hahaha.
If the report card included grades, the Celtics would be coming in with an "F"....
Come on Sheed, take the MLE w/ Boston!!!!

When is the last time we've seen such an arms race between so many different teams (Cavs, Lakers, Magic, Spurs, C's)?  Lot of names gathering in just a few places.  I don't know if I've ever seen the NBA this stratified.

I can't see Cleveland not getting someone. If they don't get Ariza, they'll pay for Odom or Sheed or Marion. Someone. They HAVE to get someone, b/c there in "spend money now or else we lose Lebron and we're dead mode." I know they must be kicking themselves for not pulling the Shaq move this past deadline.

I'm just glad he didn't go to the Cavs.

Where's all the talk about Marion? Cavs seem to be fiddling with Ariza now, being prepared to offer the MLE. Artest to the Lakers, who knows with Jason Kidd. I wonder if Marion is an option for us either through a sign and trade with Toronto or with the MLE over Sheed?
