Looks like C's brass and big 3 will meet with the Wallace family tomorrow. Go get him Doc, KG, PP, and RA!

Sheed to Boston, Im not that static about Hill.. I think he is too old, not productive enough but would be a proven back up to Paul Pierce.. so actually, LETS GET IT!

These guys are freakin cool.  I've always loved the synergy of the Big 3 on and off the court.

On the court is perfect, a shooter, a slasher, and a post guy who has range.

Off the court they've got a little bit of everything as well.  Ray's the pro's pro, your ultimate professional.  KG's the heart and soul, raging lunatic.  Paul's the goofball.  It's like the all business dad, crazy uncle, and teenage kid.  It's great.

Sheed will definitely be reigned in by KG.  This is why I am on the bandwagon to bring him here.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Having Sheed and Hill on our Bench give us the depth we need to rest the 2/3/4/5 positions.

Re-sign BBD & Powe then we have a legitimate shot at
2-3 more championships for the forseable future.

Rondo/Marbury
Allen/House/Giddens/TA
Pierce/Hill/Walker
Garnet/BBD/Scal/Powe
Perkins/Wallace

Does anyone really think Marbury is GOOD?
I still think that backup PG is a need, preferably a vet.
I think we can package some expiring contracts at the trade deadline to fill in some of the holes later.

But right now getting Sheed + Hill, but mostly Sheed is crucial.

I actually viewed Sheed as the biggest piece to the title they won in Deeetroit. What's funny is we helped them get him in that three team trade. I just always viewed Sheed as a matchup nightmare. If you put a faster big on him who can defend him outside he'll muscle the guy down low. If you put a guy like Perk on him who can keep him out of the interior he'll beat you outside. He's basically a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY rich man's Raef Lafrentz (ugh even that made me throw up in my mouth)

I think marburys alright. we know he's not starbury anymore, but he will be more than adequate this year if we end up re-signing him.

You can't expect a guy to be in game form after a couple weeks. That includes game shape, getting a rhythm, and last but not least, learning a celtic system. this summer/training camp will put him up to speed...and his physical shape will be better than what we saw late last season.

so yeah i guess i think he's GOOD for our backup pg. especially when you consider our center/wing needs.
