Hill may take the LLE, there's no way Marion is going to.

yes...baby is is in play...bird rights means he won't cut into MLE...i expect them to let baby get an offer and set his market..then if it isn't too much they resign him

I really doubt they will resign BBD if they sign Rasheed. Rasheed will be backing up both the Center and PF positions which would mean he would be playing 25-30 mins a game. That leaves not much playing time for BBD if any. Plus anything they sign BBD for will be doubled because of the luxury tax.

this makes sense in a way, especially after i read ainge telling powe that the celtics only have a "2 year window" to win championships.

it also means, if BBD is not kept, that ainge has decided to bank everything on the next 2 to 3 years and to heck with the future.

so, when the window for winning is up, it also means the celtics will be crashing and burning like no one's business and have little to no talented youth. very faustian to say the least.

but i agree with ainge, though a bit reluctantly or perhaps sadly. a few years of greatness beats the snot out of decades of mediocrity.

sorry, but the day the celtics decide to fill their bench with FWGs, i am the first in line. and i have all the credentils needed.

heck, i can do a 8" vertical leap anytime they want one. just call me mr. consistency.  ;D

True.

And also let's remember that if the C's work things out so all of their vet contracts expire at the same time (like the summer of 2012), they'll literally have tens of millions of dollars add players to put around Rondo and Perkins.

Getting young talent in the draft isn't the only way to add talent to a team.
