Tell ya what, if LA goes ahead and dives head first into a huge Luxery Tax situation by signing Lamar Odom, we are going to have to do the same.

No one we can sign for the LLE is going to have the needed impact at SF for us.

Which leads me back to favorite RFA, Hakim Warrick.  5 years/ 15 million would be too rich for Memphis to match, and only commits us to another 3 million per year in luxery tax money.

Given the revenue this team pulls in, that is a move you have to be willing to make.  Especially now that the SF list Mr October has updated for us includes names like Bogans and Herrmann as some of the top talent left over....

I think if we let Davis go but still were able to come away with Carney and Wilcox, that would be a very good offseason. Delfino is definitely worth a look too.

yeah, i like him too. One possibility i believe for a sign and trade of davis for warrick. it'd work because memphis is under the cap and warrick should earn less than davis.

Not a bad idea.  Warrick would be solid, though he's more of a PF and can't shoot that well.  Still, I would be happy with Warrick.

would rather try a sign and trade for travis outlaw. who can play the 3 and 4, shoot lights out and, judging by the development of his shot, will work on his weaknesses (D)

if that fails warrick is a good second option

we can't offer this deal. we only have the LLE left. sign and trade is your only option.

I'd not be against Carlos Delfino or Walter Hermann if not Hill ahead of the Udoka's and Carney's.  I'm not sure DA likes foreign talent but I like both their games, Hermann could actually play some 4 and has good handles as well He is underrated he was actually why that Argentina team more so than Delfino or Ginobli was scary for the US teams in international play
