  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
I may need an asst. for the first few days as well, since I'll be at a conference.  Hopefully, they'll have internet access, or the draft times will fit well.  Since I'll be at the beginning/ends of a round I don't see it being too much of a problem, but I'd hate to tie up the process, so it might be better to play it safe.

Anyone else gonna be at the National Conference of State Legislators?
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Rumors circulating that the Bulls might be hiring Michael Jordan to be their coach. Nothing set in stone yet, but people are all over twitter with this. They say Jordan as coach will be a drawing card for players. Ricky Rubio is even considering reneging on his contract to go to Chicago if he's drafted.

What are the rumblings for the projected top 5 order?  Are the elite players willing to go to Toronto and Buffalo?

It's just a 30 team draft for fun / bragging rights.  Each manager drafts a team, and then people vote on who put the best roster together, etc.

The Bulls are pleased to announce that they have hired Truck Lewis as their assistant GM. he was highly sought after by a team in Spain to be their GM, but he took less to come to the Bulls. The Bulls are confident that with a brain-trust combo of johnnyrondo and truck lewis that they will contend for the league title this year.

(Still lokking to get into the top 10 btw)

Just a reminder too, my buddy is back from his vacation and we are on board to input the results in NBA 2K10 for the simulation. Should be an entertaining thing to do, and I'll keep posted all the results. I'll probably release a monthly update (one month per day) with standings, stats, players of the month, and (gulp) injuries, and then do the results of the respective playoff series with the appropriate amount of drama and fanfare.

Can you videotape the simulated season and put it on youtube? Wait... Am I out of control over here?  ;D

Boston -- (AP) - The Celtics are seriously considering drafting Kevin Durant with the 6th pick in next Mondays draft "We just feel he's a supreme talent and can be that number 1 guy both today and tomorrow" said GM Jsaad. When asked if that meant the team was gearing toward the win later category Jsaad said: "That's the beauty of Durant, he puts our team in position for both categories going forward. We feel that's a tremendous value"

Depending on who is avaiable, the Toronto Raptors are thrilled about the possibility of building their franchise around Chris Paul, or Dwight "Hook Shot" Howard.  We feel that both of these players will be all stars for us this year and for many years to come.

He may have been referring to the fact that while Durant is a supreme talent, he hasn't won much TODAY yet... in fact compared to some guys picked lower than him, he didn't do as much with equal or better talent at U of Texas (i realized NCAA and NBA are much different).

Interesting too that 11 days before the draft 2 guys in the top 6 have virtually announced who their picking. Fact or fiction?

Do we have an Ainge in the house? Someone trying to drive up value pre-trade? Enquiring minds are enquiring. :)

Hmm... makes me think of an interesting wrinkle... anyone want to wager a 10th round pick that Jsaad doesn't pick Durant? We could set up side bets on any "announced pick"....;)
