In a surprise announcement, General Manager of the Memphis Grizzlies, KCatthestripe announced that he doesn't plan on trading any of his picks before a player is selected.

" I learned a thing or 2,000 from last years draft. The most important thing being that a pick, especially outside the top 15, has much less value than the player. For eample the last pick in the first round and the first in the second don't seem like they have a ton of value until you realize that last year they were Caron Butler and Brandon Roy. So instead of trading myself into a corner like I did in Washington, I plan on drafting through without trading for positioning."

Atthestripe also introduced his coaching staff of Rick Adelman, Tom Thibbodeau ( Angering all other GM's) and Clifford Ray. He also announced that the Grizzlies had hired the entirety of last Years Phoeni Suns training staff.

KC, I think the value of picks is up for debate --- each GM works their own way. I noticed a few other, shall we say, biases last year. But I'm not sharing them  ;D

I think you should  wait until the official start of the game to name your coaching staff... might be a Pitino situation where Adelman was signing up for a team he thought might get a high draft pick only to, well you get the idea. Hahaha.

I'm considering having that statue of Red Auerbach in Quincy Market coach the Orlando Magics this year. 8)

Are we allowed to hire coaches already? I have Isaiah Thomas on speed dial.

Alright, the hope here is to have the draft order up by noontime Wednesday (8th).

Also, if you're interested in a chance at having the Boston Celtics as your team this year, I advise you to be online at 1pm EST tomorrow. (7th)

Hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend

Guys I regret to inform you that I have to pull out. I have informed my co-GM crownsy that he will have to go solo unless he can hire another.

Have fun fellas, the Flamingos will hopefully be back next year.

Do we have a ruling on eligibility of international players this year? I would imagine that Rubio would be pretty high on quite a few people's lists.
