Tim Legler just ranked his picks in the east on ESPN2 on Mike n Mike this morn.as follows: 1.)Boston 2.)Orlando 3.)Cavs but if Turk comes back he ranks Orlando#1 Boston#2and the Cavs#3 at this moment, but subject to change as teams add pieces. He says the Cavs will not be a whole lot better unless they add some other players.Doesn't see Orlando improving much without Turk coming back to go along with the addition of V.Carter.

Tough question to answer right now.

I don't like this team - note the word, team - at this point, because the bench remains a mess. But, I'd like it a lot with a competent 3 and 5.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Orlando are a vastly improved side if they hang onto Hedo Turkoglu.

Yes, I'm worried about the Magic.

The Cavs? Same same, until they show me otherwise.
Okay, I've had some time to look at the Magic's cap position. They've pretty much lost Turkoglu and Gortat.

Not so worried about them anymore ... this trade was largely a lateral move.

Cleveland yes...I think Shaq has enough to continue to keep them competitive.

Orlando yes...I know that Hedo is probably gone but Jameer coming back largely nullifies that...and I think Vince will have a career bounce-back.

Jameer played the best half a season of his basketball life last year. Can he come back at that level, we'll have to see.

Either way I think if we're healthy we can handle Orlando.

I love how when I picked Carter last year in the celticsblog draft everybody here absolutely killed me.  I heard how he couldnt play.  How he was a cancer. How he ruined teams.  And now we are worried?
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

He had one of his best seasons in years and now he's going to a team where he can be either the 2nd or third option rather than the first. Different story, plus I'm honestly not that worried because they've admitted this will almost certainly preclude them from retaining Hedo. I don't think they're a better team if that happens.
