Terrifying, absolutely terrifying.

Brilliant trade for the Orlando Magic.

Worth giving up their cap room next year you think? I'm not so sure, plus I think they'd demand West or Hickson back too.

If Hedo doesn`t come back, I`m not scared.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I have no problems with this trade.

sometimes you have to bite your lip, exhale and move on.  So, I have.

Brilliant trade...for the Nets.

Half man, half retired...

I would've traded Jameer Nelson who is basically just Eddie House but getting a lot more hype for some reason. The Magic did very well with Rafer and it's like they didn't notice. They had no shortage of outside scoring, so Vince doesn't help much, and Courtney Lee was half of their very good perimeter defense (Pietrus the other half).

Carter is the definition of an injured loser.  I'm not concerned at all.

It all depends on Hedo.  If they keep him in the fold they'll be very, very difficult to stop.

The VC hate is overblown.  This guy's a Ray Allen level player, just a different skill set.  He's moderately efficient, extremely skilled and still pretty bouncy.

Looks like Orlando's gone all in.

If we can add 1 impact bench player and another solid one at the 3 and 5 spots, I'm not really worried about beating them.

Vince is more like Pierce than Allen at this point of his career.

  • Rondo = Good

Yeah, my dad was saying "compare Vince and Pierce's numbers and they are pretty much identical every year."  I'm  not sure how true that is, but I do think Vince is more like Pierce than Allen.

Plus they both need to the ball for their offensive style to work out well.

Vince is worth giving up their cap room.  He is still young enough and good enough that he won't just fall off the face of the earth in the next three years (unless injured of course).  He is also exciting, will sell jerseys, bring in fans, and quite frankly is still a premier scorer in the NBA.  He also has legitimate size for the SG position and would have helped immensely against teams like Boston and Orlando in that regard.

It would have cost them West, but it was worth it for Cleveland.  Wallace, West, and Gibson for VC is still an excellent trade for Cleveland (and frankly is probably a better trade for NJ as well).  You then re-sign Varejao and bring in Rasheed or Charlie V and the Cavs are probably the favorites in the East next year.  And the Cavs still have Big Z and Pavlovic's expiring contracts that they could move for someone else.

I don't buy that, maybe 5 or 10 years ago he did. But he wouldn't bring more excitement than Shaq. Plus Cleveland already has pretty much all the hype it can handle from LeBron anyways.

I think it'd be a better move talent wise, but their front court is what killed them against Orlando. So they'd do better to focus on the 4/5 spots. Heck even a quality backup 3 so they can slide LeBron to the four more effectively.

they had delonte west guarding hedo in the conference finals.  I'd feel a lot more comfortable if I'm cleveland with Carter on Hedo.
