Broussard confirming that Rondo is being shopped

I know it's kind of old news but Broussard has confirmed that the C's are shopping Rondo.

Chris Broussard: Rajon Rondo is definitely on the market. I'm told he's very hard for Doc Rivers to coach, and that while Rondo gets along OK with his teammates, he's far from a great teammate. The fear in Boston is that if Rondo's this difficult to handle on a rookie-scale salary, he's going to be a monster once he gets big money.

One GM told me, "They won a championship with this guy and he's coming off a tremendous playoff performance ... and they're looking to trade him. That tells you how bad things are."

I think that there has to be something to this. Too many times it has been stated.  I would not be surprised if he is traded draft night. Disappointed but not surprised.

everyone is open for a trade on every team, if the price is right. nothing shocking about that.

that folks want rondo is easy to figure out as well.

he is very talented and has a cheap contract for a year and is very young.

the big three are only one of the above three items and hence less desirable for most teams. KG/Allen/Pierce all cost a fortune, are getting old, and would cost a lot to acquire.

that teams are expressing interest in rondo, or, that rondo is one of the more tradable/affordable options on the celtics means that OF COURSE he is included in a number of trade talks.

trade talks are what ainge SHOULD be doing. so if ainge did not discuss rondo in trades, he would not be doing his job.

to carry on about rondo's "attitude" as stated by broussard is simply sensationalism...but then, is that anything new for him?

dennis johnson was also labeled as stubborn, strong-willed, difficult as a teammate. he did fine with the celtics didnt he?

oh well, rumors are fun and keep us all entertained.

I'd rather not trade Rondo but if we can get a good return for him I'll be ok with that.
