well if memphis trades for rondo...they won't need rubio and can demand a high price for whoever wants to come up and get him...memphis needs more than just one guy...i think if they trade for the #2..the wolves def go for rubio...memphis then takes theebet at 5 and someone else with the lower t wolve pick..

It really depends who slips but Curry, Evans, Harden, Flynn are all good bets.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think they got their heart sent on Tyreke Evans.

T Wolves walk outta the draft with a combination of Tyreke Evans and Stephen Curry.

Then they'll have a starting lineup of

Curry and evans
Corey Brewer
Al Jefferson and Kevin Love

The only person who won't be a top 7 pick there will be Big Al.

Yeah, they won't be great but they'll be decent with an eye towards the future.

Not as much potential as OKC maybe but still a lot of potential.

The one thing they have that OKC doesn't is an above average front court duo (which Jefferson and Love already are) with a near unlimited ceiling.

OKC makes up for it by having a superstar and one-day MVP kind of player in Durant.

If OKC gets Curry, Rubio, or Harden, I think they'll be pretty stacked in another year or two.

The Wolves could be that way if they pick the right guys with their draft picks.  We'll see.

Think they could pry Gasol and Gay out of Memphis for Jefferson and Gomes/Carney/Anyone Besides Love?

Well, they just traded their 28th for cash to the Knicks. I wonder what the price was.

Is that official? I've only heard rumors.

A shame we couldn't buy our pick back. Also surprised the Wolves aren't trying to package that pick with another to move up a little.

they should trade their #5, #18 and whatever else OKC wants (outside of the #6, Love, Jeff, brewer, gomes) to get the 2nd pick and grab rubio.  rubio is the only other worthy prospect, outside of griffin, in this draft and I would do anything to get him.

Then with the 6th pick they get either curry or harden (OKC will pick one of the two) as a shooter to get defenses off rubio until he becomes more consistent.

If they move up to take Thabeet they will continue their run of lottery picks because Rubio is the future, Thabeet is just OK.

Rubio
Harden or Curry
Brewer
Jefferson
Etan Thomas/Pecherov/Songaila

6th man: Love

that's an amazing young team.

Eh, Etan wouldn't start.  They'd just play Big Al at Center - a position he can certainly play - and start Love.

Current roster:

PG: Telfair, Brown
SG:
SF: Gomes, Brewer, Cardinal
PF: Love, Smith, Songalia, Pecherov
C: Jefferson, Thomas, Madsen

Draft Picks:
5,6,18,28,45,47

Obviously, they need guards. Steph Curry and James Harden, if Rubio is off the board?

I would definitely see about acquiring one of their big men.

Which one?  Their only decent backup is Craig Smith and he's a well undersized PF, and we already have enough of those.

Can't say I'm interested in Etan, Pecherov, Songaila, or Madsen.  They were called "flotsam" in that trade for a reason.

They have Big Al and Love. With the 5th and 6th they should go for Harden and Flynn. They have their C/PF of the future, and in this draft they can get their PG and SF. That would be a great team in a few years.
