While the Raptors' intention is to keep Chris Bosh, who is not remotely being shopped, but he can be had for a knock-'em-dead offer -- a prime time player, another starter, a No. 1 pick and cash. Sources say there has yet to be a single concrete proposal that comes close to blowing anybody that matters (Bryan Colangelo) away. -NY Times
Not really breaking news, but an awkwardly phrased sentence.
So pretty much a KG size offer is what he is looking for. Big Al, Gomes/Telfair/Green, and the the two picks would fit that description closely enough.
Traivs Outlaw, Steve Blake, and Lamarcus Aldridge, + the FRP (I think its like 18 or something).
That's the type of offer I think they way. If Portland were smart, they'd make it.
I think they like Aldridge too much to make that offer. I agree that they should do that trade if possible.
I think they seem to like Aldridge more than they actually do. He's just so inconsistent, temperamental, whatever.
Maybe, I don't know though. His game is so similar to Bosh's, it would be easy for them to just keep thinking he'll grow to being as good of a player.
