Yes, Powe's a free agent anyway. And I think Powe is what he is - a good backup power forward. Not the kind of guy you get an All Star for.

I don't see why Miami would also include Chalmers in the deal, or why they'd have to. TOronto gets a very good young player out of it, better than pretty much any other team will be able to offer.

This pretty much pulls Cleveland out of it I think - they don't have the trade assets. And the money's worth more in Miami anyway.

San Antonio and Houston could also be destinations. Maybe Dallas too.

Whether they have to include Chalmers is debatable, but they need a third player involved for salary reasons.

yes. And even if he were under contract and healthy, he'd be an OK trading chip.... a throw-in compared to Chris Bosh.

I'd love to see the Celtics somehow land a big time big man, perhaps after the next year or 2. Right now i want to tweak our bench and reclaim the title.

KG is better on the defensive end right now, is a leader, and is the tougher player. However, Bosh may become the better player within the next year if KG continues to break down. One could say the same thing about the Celtics less than two yrs ago with Al Jefferson.

Because Bosh doesn't have 10+ years with Toronto. He is leaving one way or another and they might get left with nothing if they don't do something. Here, they get an elite player back who might be better right now and he can't leave for three or four years. Plus, KG has already demonstrated he is not the type of player to ask for a trade or cause headaches.

I'm fairly certain he will sign with Cleveland or Miami.  I don't see any reason for him to go to NY, NY sucks.

I can see many reasons to see him in NY, and that's the same reasons like yours, the players he want to play that now are on Miami and Cleveland next year probably are going to be in NY, so I can see why he is going to be a Knick

LeBron being there would be pretty good incentive.
