As long as LA brings back at least 1 of Ariza and Odom they are the favorites in the west again.

The C's have to shore up the bench in order to get back to the finals. Got to give those old legs their rest. The C's still have the best starting 5... but they need their rest.

up to very recently i wanted c's lakers again. now i'm not sure. a big part of me wants the lakers to just completely suck. i like the idea of the c's being the greatest franchise in nba history. one more by the lakers and i think the national view will be that l.a. is now the greatest. media people will keep repeating it until people just accept it ebvven if it was'nt true.
   i'm gonna throw somethin out there that may tick some off..i think it's very possible that that irish shamrock symbol and the celtics name is'nt something some non white members of the media would prefer as representing the greatest basketball franchise. i think many would prefer it be the lakers.

You gotta remember, the bulk of the Celtics titles were early in the league when it was watered down and easy to get to the Finals. 

Can you explain to me the motivation for an obvious Lakers fan to come in to CelticsBlog and try to convince people the Lakers are better?  How pathetic do you have to be?  Obvious troll is obvious.

Yeah Lakers C'mon back to the Finals and face a real team, you know the team you only beat twice in 31 trips to the finals.  Hey you should have even stuck around for a Game 7 last year, so we could beat you by 100.  Maybe next year we can beat you by 1000.  NBA Finals 2010 Game 6 Finals Score.  Celtics 1091 Lakers 91.
