1)Joe Johnson

3)Amare Stoudenmeyer
4)Michael Redd replacement for Ray
5)Tyson Chandler- could be had for less than max, imo via trade

I'd much rather have Stoudamire than Bosh if both are free agents. Stoudamire is much tougher and an inside force on offense, while Bosh shoots jumpers most of the time .

Bosh is a model citizen, a better rebounder, a better defender, and an equally good scorer (although he does it in different ways).  Bosh would be less of a headache, and he also has fewer injury concerns (although I'm not all that worried about Amare's knees.)

I agree with Hobbs here about Bosh.

My heart says to go after Wade but my brain is saying Lebron.

  • Rondo = Good
Wade is probably the best option there as far as a superstar that could lead the franchise...but I worry about injuries with him.

Bosh would be nice, and I do prefer him over Amare.

I doubt we get any of them though.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
1. Lebron
2. Wade
3. Amare
4. Joe Johnson
5. Bosh

Bosh does a lot of his scoring on jumpers which is kind of where KG operates. Amare scores most of his points going to the rim, I always prefer players that go to the cup.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

wade wants to stay in miami, and miami wants wade to stay. He isn't going to come to Boston (the polar opposite of Miami, by the way).

Also, anyone who thinks LeBron is coming here needs to wake up and smell the roses. There isnt enough money in the world to have Pierce, KG, Lebron, and 10 others. Sorry.

Well, we're not getting any of these players, because we're not going to sign anybody to a max contract in 2010.  However, the original post asked about people's "wish list".  If we're making wishes, we may as well go for Lebron.

I guess... but I mean, it should be understood that those players are on the top of everyone's wishlist, but that it just isn't logical to set ourselves up for the let down. However, there are a lot of other free agents next year who we will be able to send offers to.

I think what Wyc was maybe trying to say, but worded it poorly, is that we will have a decent amount of money next year to offer a max contract to somebody not named lebron or wade if we wanted to. I dont think that will be the case however.
