Can someone tell me the last time Marbury was productive? 2 seasons ago?
Wasn't he on a downward trend the season before?
He was productive last year unless the only thing you are counting is whether his outside shot dropped. He played very solid pesky defense. He worked hard to find the open man. For a guy who was supposed to be the epitome of selfishness he was selfless to the extreme. If anything he needed to shoot or drive more. If you look at the all around situation he was solid. If you were wanting the all-star to show up then of course you are dissapointed.
How so? I completely missed it.
Much easier to make an overall negative comment instead of addressing the issue. I'm okay with someone saying that he didn't shoot as well as we hoped, but he did do some things well and was a good soldier while on the team so I would be fine bringing the guy back. Go ahead and find a vet minimum guy that has his talent that is available for us to sign with upside...
Show me one thing he did well on the court throughout his stay?
I showed you a few in my response initially. You just chose to ignore them...
You gave me an opinion with no supporting evidence.
I can look at the tapes and watch him pass up the open shots he was brought in here to take.
You can look at his stats and see even when he did shoot, his shot was awful this season.
You can look at his stats over the years and see them heading down.
And the best anyone can say is "at least he behaved in the locker room."
Or "he has one good game" (out of how many, 30?)
