Disclaimer: This is a post about all the rumors covering a possible trade including Rajon Rondo.

I do not know about you guys, but every single time I hear rumors about Rajon being traded, I poo bricks. To me, it's well beyond whether or not I believe those rumors; the mere mention of the words 'trade' and 'Rondo' in one line gets me frantic spasms.

If RR gets traded, I'm going to have a hard time cheering for the green next year, I'll tell you that much. I know some, if not most, of you will shoot me down for this, but I honestly think trading Rondo would hurt us. A lot.

Now this topic is not about the why, when or who, but more about the feelings you guys get when you hear these rumors. Is anyone feeling like this too? Or is it just me?

  • Rondo = Good
Don't worry, it's not going to happen.

Are you sure you just didn't drink too much coffee or eat too much sugar? They can have a similar effect.

i find it encouraging that danny explores every option to improve. these days someone staying with one team for a career is very rare - so it's likely rondo will play somewhere else at one point or another.  it's kind of sad, but that's the reality of it and i think these days a good GM can't get like emotionally attached, and that seems to be what we have with danny.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
I feel you man. The idea of trading Rondo and Ray as well, terrifies me, this team when healthy, is light years beyond the rest of the league in a seven game series. Sign a vet big man and a defensive 3, give Marbury a full training camp and it's rings for all. Be patient Danny and realize what you have here.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I guess Danny just feels that we got our championship, so now he is looking to make sure we are good now and in the future, rather than just going all in on this next year. I REALLY love Rondo and what he brings to this team, but felt the same way about Big Al- and look what that brought us. If we can get anywhere near the impact player for Rondo like we did with Big Al, then I am all for it. I doubt we will get a CP3 or Amare, but it is nice to think about the possibilities...

People think up trades involving their teams starting 5, because they are bored. Nothing to worry about, seriously.
