Good call on Reagan.  We won't see a President like him ever again.  When all was said and done, both sides of the isle at least respected him whether they agreed with him or not.

Chain restaurants were still kinda fun, newish, and cool, instead of a way of life

You could watch an entire sporting event (except maybe the Olympics) and never wonder about which guys were using PEDs. Nowadays you wonder who isn't.

Guys from relatively small schools like Houston and BC and non-QBs could still win a Heisman.

The non-BCS, which amazingly wasn't as bad as the BCS

Peter Jennings...sorta

good tv even though there were less channels

rotary phones - I never liked em but now I kinda miss em

You could go to a movie or church without a cell phone going off

I think toys were better

The price of college didn't insult our intelligence or leave us in debt our whole life

I had the Danny and DJ Reeboks circa 1988.  You and I would have made a heckuva pickup team at the Y with those kicks.
