All I can say is that if the C's stay healthy and maintain the fire they've had since KG got here, there's no reason they can't win the next two years.  I still think the C's are the best team in basketball.

Well said. How many other teams have potential 2010 All-Stars at every starting position?

Well said yourself.  The better question might be how many teams in the past twenty years have had potential All-Stars at every starting position?

With that in mind, I really, really don't think Ainge should look to break this up.  This team has the potential to be even better than it was two years ago, which is scary.  With a better bench and health, they could be an all time great team.

I presume I'm missing it but where does it say anywhere in that
link that Garnett guarantees a championship those years?

"I talked to [Garnett] and he guaranteed the championship in 2010 and in 2011," Grousbeck said.

Link.

I think that guarantee will only be as good as the teammates KG is playing with next season.  Let's hope that Danny and Wyc provide Doc, KG, and the rest of the team the pieces they need.

training camp cant come fast enough!

And hopefully they listen to us this time!  :)  We wanted Andersen, Barnes, and Chalmers. Danny gave us POB, Tony Allen, and Giddens.

I will settle for KG guaranteeing that he will be healthy enough to play every game next year, but even that is something that he can't guarantee. Be fired up, get and stay healthy, raise another banner. Talk is cheap.

100% agree.  Ainge has some work to do on the bench, but if the C's are healthy they are still the best team in basketball.  The main problem is that the more time that the older they get, the less likely it will be that all the significant players are healthy.  Rather than expecting everyone to be healthy in next years playoffs, I would consider us very lucky if that happened.
